The chest is of compact proportions, making it ideal for both hallways and smaller interiors while retaining all the elegance expected of Georgian design. It features a cross banded caddy top, above four graduated drawers of solid oak dovetailed construction, each adorned with superbly detailed brass swan-neck handles and decorative escutcheons, with original locks.
The drawer fronts are veneered in book-matched walnut, framed by feather banding and a cross banded edge that highlights the natural grain.
