Large genuine Megalodon tooth, with good enamel and serrated edges.
One of the largest and most powerful predators to have ever lived, the Megalodon shark lived approximately 23 to 3.6 million years ago. Their teeth were thick and robust, built for grabbing prey and breaking bone, and their large jaws could exert a bite force of up to 108,500 to 182,200 newtons.
Superb colour and in good condition. This tooth measures 5.6 inches across the angle, a great find and one of the larger sizes to be found.
