Large George IV Mahogany & Leather Partners Writing Table

A fine quality large mahogany partners library writing table, circa 1820.

Benefitting from a new thick leather hide, hand dyed using traditional technique to create a beautiful aged tan colour. With gold tooled trim.

There are 2 drawers on each working side, with working locks and 4 keys. The drawer fronts are cockbeaded, with ash linings and turned handles.

Lovely rich coloured mahogany in very good condition, raised on superb chunky turned legs with brass cup casters.

Good deep size, almost square in shape, designed for 2 people to work at this desk together.
