Circa 1880. This table is just beautiful. For use as either a writing table or a dressing table, this piece has a wonderful rich walnut colour and aged patina. There is a small shaped black leather inset on the table surface, with nicely tooled edge, this is above 2 drawers of good quality construction. The mirrored door in the middle of the table top opens to reveal 2 removable shelves and there are further shelves either side of the mirror. The main cupboard has a brass galleried top. There is some speckling to the mirror as you would expect with age. On porcelain casters. A really exceptional piece of furniture, in excellent condition and ready for use.
