A superb 19th century Biedermeier sideboard, circa 1860, beautifully veneered throughout in richly figured flame mahogany. The striking concave-shaped front is arranged with three drawers above three panelled doors, each showcasing the exceptional natural figuring of the timber. The sideboard is enhanced by finely carved detailing, including decorative carved feet and side elements, with a handsome moulded top. The doors and drawers are fitted with working locks and keys.
The doors open to reveal 3 drawers in the left cupboard, a shelf in the middle, and a slide over a single shelf in the right hand cupboard.
A substantial and highly decorative piece of furniture.
