A fine Edwardian kidney shaped desk in a beautiful mahogany, circa 1900. The desk features a new hand-dyed green leather inset writing surface, crossbanded decoration and delicate string inlay throughout. It is fitted with nine drawers, all retaining attractive brass handles, and is finished all round, allowing it to be used freestanding in the centre of a room. Raised on elegant tapering legs with brass casters. Presented in very good condition and ready for immediate use in the home or office.
