The front features painted figures, landscapes, birds, and pagodas, all executed in vibrant gold tones that contrast elegantly with the deep black ground.
The single door holds an oval bevelled mirror framed with delicate gilt embellishment. Inside there is a hanging rail and some brass hooks.
The wardrobe includes a single full-width drawer at the base, adorned with matching chinoiserie artwork.
It comes apart into three pieces for ease of transport.
