A fine 18th century oak wardrobe of pleasing proportions and rich, warm colour, displaying a well-figured grain and attractive patina developed over centuries.
Constructed in two pieces for ease of movement, the upper section fitted with a pair of panelled doors opening to reveal a practical interior with two hanging rails running front to back. The left-hand side offers a longer hanging height, with a shorter hanging section to the right. With round brass handles and decorative turned columns on each corner.
The base features one long, functional drawer and one short drawer, with cockbeaded fronts and fitted with brass handles; the remaining matching drawer fronts are dummy drawers, allowing the full use of the internal hanging space above.
