SKU: WNE240927FA charming solid oak gentlemans wardrobe, English, Circa 1770.
Beautifully aged oak colour boasting a wonderful patina, with cross banding and ebony string inlaid door panels, opening to reveal a hanging rail inside, with working lock and key. The doors are flanked either side by quarter columns with fluted detail, and panelled sides.
Sitting on a chest base of 2 short over 2 long drawers, with cockbeaded fronts and original locks and turned handles.
The drawers are of solid pine construction, with decorative shield shaped bone escutcheons.
This wardrobe, breaks into 3 pieces for transport, the top cornice, main wardrobe body and chest base.
