A rare mahogany military cabinet on chest, circa 1840.
Brass trimmed top above 2 panelled doors which open to reveal 2 height adjustable shelves inside. This cabinet sits on a large mahogany chest with twin brass carry handles either side.
Having a front fall which opens to reveal a fitted secretaire, with pigeon hole storage and small drawers for stationary etc. Above 4 long drawers with cockbeaded fronts and brass military inset handles.
Raised on bun feet.
Lovely colour and condition.
